How does Bright Funded perform when markets lack direction?
4 months 6 days ago #43930 by lesert
Markets are not always trending, so I want to understand how Bright Funded feels during slow or choppy periods. Many strategies struggle when conditions are unclear. Does Bright Funded make these periods harder to navigate?

During low volatility days, do traders feel pressure to trade anyway just to make progress? Or does Bright Funded encourage waiting, even if that means long periods of inactivity?

I am also curious about frustration levels. Does chopping price action combined with drawdown limits increase emotional strain? How do traders stay disciplined during these conditions?

For traders who adapted well, what changed? Did you reduce trade frequency, tighten criteria, or step away completely during certain weeks?

Do quiet markets expose weaknesses in how Bright Funded rules interact with real trading behavior? Would you say Bright Funded is better suited for active trending environments?

What guidance would you give to someone trading Bright Funded during prolonged sideways markets?
